Colon Cancer Symptoms
If you are 40 or older, then go see your doctor and make an appointment to have a colonoscopy, start getting your regular checkup, and be aware of any colon cancer symptoms.
When we reach the age of 40, our chances of getting colon cancer goes up. If you can get the cancer in the early stages, then you are at a much better chance of fighting it.
Here are a list of colon cancer symptoms that you need to look for:
1. Bloody Stool: This is usually the first thing you notice, and do not ignore it. This is extremely important check.
2. Weight Loss: The tumor will make it difficult for you to have normal digestive processes and making it difficult to eat, or may have your system so back up causing weight fluctuations.

Your colon and the rectum are the base section of your large instestine. This is where colon cancer starts, in the rectum, then spreading to the rest of the colon. Doctors have not found any particular cause, but there are a lot of risk factors that you need to be aware of. These risk factors are genetics, age, diet and alcohol use.
If you have any colon cancer symptoms, you need to be checked right away, this is not anything to be put off until later, later may be too late. If you have a relative that has been diagnosed with colon cancer, then this increases your risk of getting it as well, and making it even more important to be checked. If you have ulcerative colitis or Crohns disease, then again, you are at a greater risk of this horrible disease. Please don’t take any chances with your life. Be safe rather than sorry.
Have a colonoscopy done, have yourself checked for polyps. If there are polyps found, they can excise them right then and there, and then have them analyzed for cancer. This will put you way ahead of this very deadly game.
